About Desiree Bates the artist:
As an artist I enjoy all mediums. From traditional art such as ceramics, watercolor and Oil paints to Metal art and photography, I enjoy anything that allows me to express my creativity. When I began art school I added my favorite medium thus far... Digital art.
Desiree's background and education:
June of 03- I graduated from Platt College of San Diego with an AA in Graphic Design.
January of 06- I graduated again from Platt College of San Diego with a BA in Media Arts.
December of 06- I Earned my TIG Welding Certification from Palomar College.
Currently:
I work for KUSI TV CH.9 San Diego. I do the graphics for the morning news, Good Morning San Diego as well as Inside San Diego.
I am also the owner of Born Dirty InDUSTries® and do all of the graphics and web design for the company.
Long Term:
My long term goal is to work as a graphic artist in the off road motorsports industry.
